FORGING AHEAD...
Pai seh hor every1 long time nv update blog liao... anywae on saturday, i went 4 rapture( an SAJC concert by SAJC dance society. i got the ticket by zhongyi and i went becos my cousin is performin in 1 of the alumni items called 'Ash Child' cos i wasn't interested in this kind of dance anywae but jus went 4 exposure n see wat kind of dance actually they r dancin.
During the performance, not onli i was watchin how the dancers dance but on other aspects like their props, lightings and how the audience react 2 their items. firstly, i mus sae their dancers r not lousy at all, technically, they r good n they smile alot 2 attract their audience. they hv alot of gd dancers in their society too. so in a sense tat i feel tat their choreographer emphasise alot on their dancers rather den other aspects cos i notice tat they rarely spent effort on their props n lightings. maybe they find it a hassle to hv many props ?? i doe noe ??
But from this concert, i learnt quite abit of things too, so it's not a wasted trip after all...
1. i should try 2 expose myself to different performances like rapture
2. i mus accept tat sumtimes we can't force things to be the way we want it... they
might be happy if jus dun force them 2 do the things they doe wan 2... like my
cousin's case i hv 2 accept tat we r 2 different kind of dancers.
3. i should be happy tat i hv mr low as my instructor, tat not onli he teaches mi
how 2 dance which he claimed he is not, he teaches mi other stuff too which
other ppl didn't hv the chance 2...
4. now i noe tat gals can live without guys... y ?? look at the sa's dacne items...
i dun think the guys r dancin at all lorz.. they r jus a prop bein used in the
dance( no offence but tat's how i feel lahz)
5. the difference between a dancer n a performed explained by zhongyi.
After the performance went out with zhongyi to chinatown 4 supper den later zhenyu joined us. took quite a long time 2 go there shall not elaborate on tat... anywae,i actually told zhongyi tat 1 of the performances in rapture was actually 1 of the idea tat i had in mind a month or two ago... it's bout how students behave in sch in recent years. abit like qi cai xue tang but it's a modern dance... quite suprisin tat it's a modern dance rite ?? haha... i oso abit suprised but the thing is tat should i continue with this idea or should i jus 4get it since it's not within my means 2 choreograph a dance item n will there actually be ppl interested in participatin( anywae i dun need ppl whu r gd in dancin in this item)... anywae time shall decide everythin lahz...
so it's my fault lahz... can't realli be bothered but cannot lahz... keep naggin bout it...haiz... sianz... doe noe wat's wrong with mi lahz...
wak tokin on the fone with jx, den my mum sae y cum back early nv keep clothes, when i actually did jus tat in the afternoon be4 goin sch... jus tat those on my rack r clothes tat r dried this evenin... sianz... so she scold mi back lorz... dulan here n there lorz... scold here n there lorz... worst thing i dun hv money now... it's in my mum's cupboard... chia lat liao... hv 2 last the whole day lehz... got 2 revise maths so hv 2 eat in sch den at nite got cs(community service) den hv 2 eat out... sianz... at least need 10 bucks lehz...
think i realli 1 2 quarrel mehz ??? it's jus mi lahz... they dun noe... my voice may be loud at times but i dun mean it... wan 2 noe y ?? i found out tat i hv dum difficulties hearin things at times... den i will tend 2 tok loudly at times when i didn't realise tat i actually tokin veri loud... think i wan this ?? haiz...
still the sae lehz... i still can't concentrate pn my studies... i still skip, cum late n dun do tutorials... SHIT MAN!!! i'm think i'm realli in deep shit now... jus tat sumtimes i doe wan 2 bother ppl so jus kept things 2 myself... i noe i dun like this course n tat i'm jus gettin this diploma 4 the sake of my future... i realli 1 2 put in my effort 2 jus study n do well... my class ppl r doin well but not mi...
it's nv nice 2 be in the same class with yr 1s... i dun mean anythin bad but the fact tat i dun feel rite lahz n tat they r smarter den mi or sumtimes i being left out... i dun blame them... it's not their fault at all... jus blame myself 4 failin maths 1B lorz... SIANZ rite ?? hope all these wun spoil yur day... if it does so sorri... i jus somehow relievin my stress...
guess tat i jus hv 2 push myself 2 study like how i push my juniors 2 dance properly... i hv 2 do this 2 myself torture myself in order 2 get things done... guess this shall be the rite way ba 4 now... No choice... CHIONG AR!!!
Wow... nkf has finally ended man. from this nkf performance, i've learnt and realise quite a number of things. Generally i think yesterdae's performance was quite gd jus tat the atmosphere wasn't tat gd... as in this dance isn't meant to be performed in mediacorp. it's supposed to be presented in places kallang n victoria theatre as it is an kind of arts...
i got approached by mr low 2 help out in this performance, thinkin tat it should be quite fun. but after everythin ended it doesn't seems to be the way i feel it should be... some people were treated like maids or servants tat can be call n order around. quite disappointed. sumtimes ppl still go missin without informin others. i feel and observe personally tat sum of performers attitude is quite bad... they tok 2 ppl whu r senior den them like they r as if tokin 2 their buddies or as if the seniors owe them a livin... kaoz... see alreadi the blood oso boil... this happen 2 mi oso...
i feel tat these ppl nowadays think tat we as helpers r there 2 serve them n spoon feed them... i suggest tat we should let them do it themselves... wan 2 drink water or get food.... go get themselves we dun even need 2 serve them... they think treat nhds is wat ??? their hm or wat tat we must serve them... they r not VIPs man tat we hv 2 serve them n there isn't a THANK YOU after tat... haiz... i noe tat we as helpers need 2 help them in some ways like:
1. keep their belongings
2. safeguard their props after performance
3. clear up the holdin area after use
4. help them if there is a probelem with their costume
5. direct them 2 performances areas or holding areas
other den tat they might be other areaas tat might need our help tat i've missed out. so should they think of their behaviour or they mus ZHI WO QIAN TAO. but if they dun den it's okie... i UNDERSTAND...
So long nv post liao sum of the ppl whu visits my blog confirm will dulan y nv update 1 rite... anywae yahz i now post liao... been 2 a few places 2 buy things this week n go do community service....
Anywae shall touch on the topic now... been discussin these with a few of my close frens n i hv made my conclusion.but first some background.
On sundae, nh went to sentosa 4 a performance n alot of things happen there be4 they n after they perform.
Before
1. elephant came late 2 open the door
2. elephant went 2 lock the gate tat made mr low 2 climb the gate n the bus
coulldn't enter. HOW SMART RITE ??
3. elephant scolded male committe members 4 no apparent reaons
(some examples)
- scolded juncheng 4 not greetin her
- scolded jeremy 4 askin permission 2 open the gate
4. it rained when they reach there 4 not long
5. elephant n CO. start grumblin over things on students
6. the stage was slippery
After
1. everythin was chaotic instructions were either not carried out, not given or were
overruled
2. elephant n CO. actually allow students 2 go hm from there
3. important ppl actually got missing
- ppl carryin valuables
- ppl whu actually r in charge in sumthin
4. students start 2 go missing without sayin whether they r leavin with the bus or
not
5. the EXCOS got veri confused
6. the buses had 2 wait 4 irresponsible ppl
Based on these problems myself or CO. had made a few comments:
1. elephant mus change her way of din things be4 the students start protestin against her
2. students better wake up their idea man!!! stop making things difficult n be irresponsible
3.elephant and CO. hv 2 take much of the blame 4 the mishap tat had happen
4. EXCOS mus be vigilant against her n CO.
5. start to think of a suitable teacher in charge
6. be prepared for the worst always
Meanwhile, another event was happenin over the other side at media corp, DI n tanglin combine to present a wushu performance. overall, it was okie n everythin was okie but jus a few comments tat i hv 2 sae. for first timers whu actually performed wushu these is the kind of trainin we go through but sad 2 sae wat u gone through is not the worst. so be prepared. this is the kind of trainin we go through. i understand tat the time was a constrain n was abit rush but u all did quite well.
based on the performance, overall they all did quite a gd job but discipline was abit lackin at times especially on wednesday itself.
1. Punctuality
we should try 2 not 2 be late 4 performances or if we r meetin each other to go 4
performances, especially when there is transport provided.
2. Attitude
i'm not tryin 2 shoot any1 here but in any case i'm sorri... i feel tat sum of u
got sum problems communcatin with us.If let sae a person from from DI whu is
older den u he/she advise u or tell u sumthin pls dun give a negative reply or
bad attitude. we dun owe u a livin. somehow we got our reasons 4 tellin u wat u
did wrong or otherwise. there is a few cases i've heard or been through tat i
think tat'S Y i hv 2 stress this n pls show R.E.S.P.E.C.T 2 mr low,da huimin
jie jie n those whu r older den u...
3. Behaviour
i noe tat u all excited tat u all r goin 2 mediacorp tat u all r goin 2 see
superstars or idols. No1 blame u 4 tat but pls restrain yurself sumtimes
especially when mr low or sum1 is addressin every1 n give tat person yur full
respect. Pls dun turn yurself away from the 1 whu is tokin when a media corp
artiste pass by or even comment. i even noe tat u all commented when mr low tok 2
vincent ng. come on lahz both of them r wushu experts. wat's the big deal man!!!
wah biang!!! n i oso noe tat zhongyi commented on a few of u all bu sum of u gave
the replies tat u all shouldn't hv lorz... i dun think it's gd even if u dun like
him( 1 of u even reply " izzit yur business ?? y mus u meddle with our business)
i am exceptionally disappointed with this reply n it actually came from sum1
whom i think has potential.:(
4. Responsibility
y i mention this is becos i think tat sum of u dun hv enough responsibility. first
u all r responsible 4 yur own things like costume n accessories. not wait till
ppl or mr low 2 tell u wat 2 do... another point if u r unclear bout yur wushu
actions or anythin 2 do with the performance pls be responsible enough 2 ask sum1
2 help u not till when during rehearsal time u can't do the actions or the timin
is wrong or wait till mr low flare up or scold u... if u r being assigned 2 do
sumthin or take charge of sumthin pls noe wat 2 do n ask if u dunno not wait till
ppl remind u things tat u hv been told. n dun even push responsibility to others
unless u r real busy. U hv 2 stay alert of wat 2 do n when 2 do it.
Basically this is wat i hv 2 sae lorz... i'm quite disappointed this time not becos i hv high expectations or wat but the main reason is tat sum of the ppl whu has these problems r ppl whu r actually ppl whu i'm quite close 2. i'm not expectin u all 2 do miracles or wat but at least behave yurself n try 2 help others when u hv 2... haiz... doe noe how lahz... jus DISAPPOINTED with u all n hope tat these ppl can improve n realise tat things r not in their favour. remember this: no1 owes u a livin... u r responsible 4 yur own livin n yur actions... NO1 DOES!!!
